The potato bugs decimated the potato plants. I pulled up some of them and cooked the small potatoes. I cut all of the stems off of the others, leaving just a little sticking up. Then I sprinkled on a little donkey manure. Finally, I covered it all up with a 3:1 mix of two year old hay & freshly cut yard clipplings. I figure at worst we will get a good layer of soil for next year and at best we wil also get a new round of potatoes just in time for fall. I call it potatoes 2.0 or potatoes rebooted. Guess I could call it potatoes part deux.
